Is having killed Osama Bin Laden really helped or hurt the War on Terror?

I think now that Osama Bin Laden is killed, this will only incite Al Quaeda to react more forcefully than ever'. Osama may have been the mastermind behind 9/11, but he is not the person we should really be after. I have always known that someone would replace Osama so why the wasted effort to kill him. We should try to negotiate with AL QUAEDA instead of trying to kill them. Al Quaeda is all over the world now. They were all located in afghanisthan until we drove them out. They are all dispersed throughout the globe.
