Questions regarding astronomical imaging process?

The first one is correct. For the second, a band-pass filter limits your detection to a narrow set of wavelengths. A spectrum spreads out the wavelengths of a point source over the whole detector. As for the last one, I've always used it in the sense of #5, but you should look up in your book exactly what they mean by it.
