What to do about this girl?

So i really like this girl but lately i think she hates me. We started out as sorta friends because i would text her over the summer (last year) and we were in the same class and she made it seem like she liked me. so this year i asked her to prom and she told me she loved to, but then she told me she wasnt going to go with me and said she might go to her ex boyfriends instead or not go to either at all. So i got mad at her (this is all over text message) and said i really liked her and was being kind of a jerk. so we never talked again since, 3 months later and were out of school and i sent her a message saying im sorry and asked why she wont talk to me and she said i was being a jerk and that theres nothing to talk about. I guess this means there's pretty much no hope at all to fix this is there? what could i say to her? I thought she still liked me cause i saw her looking at me at lunch a lot.
