Can an suv be used for a NJ road test?

i have a 2006 honda crv and my concern is that the e brake is like on the driver side but it doesnt really have a center console because between the seats is just some cup holders that you can hide so the e brake is like on the side of the part where the radio and like compartments are in so the e brake isnt technically on the center console so can i use this car for my nj road test i just turned 17 and i had apperently failed my road test because while waiting in line for the test i pulled up 5 feet without my mom in the car the the guy was a complete jerk and failed me so i dont want to fail again
