Poor charge on new MacBook Pro?

When the processor and the graphics processor are running at maximum, the battery life can be reduced considerably. When a manufacturer says a notebook can last up to 3 hrs, you can bet under full load the battery will last less than 25% of that time. Moral of this is if you are working at near full load (games, Video editing etc) plug it into the mains. The heat that is generated by the CPU and GPU can make the case too hot to touch. Invest in a laptop cooler pad.
